??Talking about Peru couldn’t be simpler because Peru is a country full of contrasts, full of energy and full of magnificent places. I’m not talking about the usual Machu Picchu, but the real Peruvian country. I’m talking about how much I enjoyed this country because of its:

Documents ready!
??We need to talk about the immigration process. You need to do some paperwork before you can enter in other countries. First, you need to have your and your bike's documents up to date in your country of origin. After that, there are two “little processes” that you need to do before crossing.
??Paso a paso para cruzar la frontera; primero que nada tú necesitas realizar el proceso de inmigración, para eso tienes que tener los tus documentos y los de de tu moto en regla en tu país de origen, y luego empezaremos con un “pequeño proceso” que debes cumplir antes de cruzar…
Step by step to cross the border of Peru.
?? First, show your passport at the immigration office in Ecuadorian side ??. Seal the exit and then go to Peruvian side ??, to seal it again and be ready for a small talk. They will ask you a few questions that, in my particular case, were: Really? You are traveling in that thing? ( referring to La Balita), then a little nice conversation and they say “You have got 90 days to stay in this country. Welcome!”. This is the paperwork that people has to do.
??Primero mostrar tu pasaporte o documento en inmigración de Ecuador para realizar la salida, luego mostrar el mismo documento para recibir el sello en este caso en migración peruana, una pequeña conversación y las típica pregunta ¿en eso estás viajando?, una pequeña conversación acerca de los motivos del viaje, un poquito de risas y luego de eso el oficial me dijo “bienvenido a Perú tienes 90 días para estar en el país”este es el proceso que hay que hacer para las personas.
??Second, you need to go (at the Ecuadorian side) to Customs and then the person will check your bags (or maybe not) and then check your bike's documents. The same process goes for Ecuadorian ?? customs and for Peruvian ?? customs. The vehicle enters to the country as “provisional importation” and you can use it as long as the permission you got as a person. Again, a few laughters and good vibes from the officers and now you’re ready!!! BUT NO!!!

Segundo; Ahora debes llevar los documentos de tu moto a aduana de Ecuador, para sellar la salida del vehículo, y luego acudir a aduana del Perú, para realizar el documento que se conoce como importación temporal, Este documento permite que la Moto esté dentro del país el mismo tiempo que tú tengas permiso., Una pequeña conversación, buenas vibras de los oficiales peruanos y ¡estamos listos para salir! … ¡PERO NO..!
Traveler Tip #1
??Always try to ask and learn about the country you’re entering to. In this case, Peruvian officers told me that I need to buy SOAT, ( safety insurance obligatory in Peru). Unfortunately, it wasn’t cheap but the law is the law. So remember to do this: Buy it and then you’ll be ready to go.
??*CONSEJO VIAJERO. Siempre trata de leer y de preguntar acerca de las leyes de otro país, en este caso yo tenía que comprar un seguro llamado SOAT que es un seguro obligatorio para accidentes de tránsito en Perú, recuerda hacer este proceso para que no tengas ningún problema, efectivamente eso hice ( desgraciadamente no era nada barato, pero la ley es la ley), lo compré y estaba listo para partir…
